The New Beginnings Baptist Outreach is led by church planters Lou and Janet Faccinto. Since they began this mission, God has blessed them with a facility to work from and has been bringing them people who have a desire to know Him (about 30 and growing). They offer discipleship classes for adults and youth during the week and Bible Studies on Sundays. A ladies' Bible study and ESL classes are beginning soon.
July 2010 Update
Our youth mission team have been very busy preparing for our 5th return trip to Meriden in July 2010. They have been working hard during the last week selling fireworks as a fundraiser for the trip. They have been praying, planning and packing. New Beginnings just recently moved into a new facility. Our team will have a whole new area to minister to while still building connections with those they met in past years at City Park. We pray for God's protection and power over them as they go.
Prayer Requests for New Beginnings
* Partner churches or small groups that will provide financial contributions.
* Pray for God's calling on a person that will come be a pastor for New Beginnings.
* Pray for continued growth in regular attendees at New Beginnings.
* Pray for God to stir the hearts of the people in Meriden so they will respond when they hear the gospel message at New Beginnings
* Pray for all of the individuals that will be coming to New England on missions. Pray that God will provide for all their needs and give them an extra measure of grace.
